Welcome to my online treasure chest! I have joined many writing groups in the past years. I have received and still receive some wonderful and valuable advice. I have always heard that if you want to be successful you should go to the people who have achieved the success you want to achieve. This journal is open to all authors and owners of literary websites. It is place to share your success stories and give advice to folks who are looking for answers. I will post questions daily or very often :-). If you have experience or advice, please share it with all who log on to this blog.
I have decided that I want to help other authors like my self so from time I will interview an author here on this blog that I feel has what it takes to make it!
My latest news!
This has been a great year for me! In August of 2006 I had a short story published in the book ‘Chicken Soup for the African American Woman’s Soul’. The title is ‘Walking the Lessons of Life’. Next my first book ‘The After Party…’was re-released by Mardigras Publishing in November of 2006. Then I had another story accepted in the book ‘How I Met My Sweetheart’ by Amani Publishing. It will be released in February 2007. In addition I had a poem accepted for the upcoming 2007 release of ‘Gumbo for The Soul: The Recipe for Literacy in the Black Community’ Anthology #1.
Happy New Year 2007!
Thank you and continued success to you all!

Valerie, a size 14 with a low self-esteem, had been through the ringer. I know so many women who have been through the trials that Valerie suffered. She married a man and after having two children with him, he turned out to be less than what was expected. He was on drugs and when he robbed their home to finance his habit she knew it was time to file for divorce. Click here to continue the review http://www.bbwreviewers.com/afterparty.htm
